The service

Raceway Weather shows weather forecasts and derived estimates for race tracks. It is free to use and provided as is. Forecasts are forecasts: they can be wrong, and the derived numbers (flags, density altitude, track temperature, surface hints) are estimates from a weather model, not measurements. Race control, the track and the series decide what happens on race day; check with them.

No liability

To the extent the law allows, Raceway Weather and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, including travel, tickets, parts or tuning decisions made on the strength of a forecast.

Fair use of the data

You may link to any page and quote figures with attribution. The public JSON at /api is for personal and non-commercial use at a reasonable rate; ask before building a product on it. Forecast data is subject to Open-Meteo's terms; map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL.

Photos you send

When you send a track photo you confirm you took it yourself, and you give Raceway Weather a free, non-exclusive permission to show it on the site, on the map and in share images, with the name you give as the credit. You keep the copyright. A person reviews every photo before it appears, and we may decline any. Write to [email protected] and we take your photo down.

Trademarks

Track and series names are used to identify the places and events they refer to. Raceway Weather is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, the NHRA, any sanctioning body, any series or any track.

Changes

These terms may change; the date below moves when they do. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
