Are the numbers sensor readings?
No. Everything here is computed from the forecast: density altitude, air density and grains from the forecast air temperature, dew point and station pressure; track temperature is an estimate from sun, wind and the surface. The week-long pit box is the same arithmetic for every forecast hour.
Where do the three models come from?
Open-Meteo serves ECMWF IFS, NOAA GFS and DWD ICON. For each of the next three racing days (9 am to 10 pm at the track) we compare their rain chance and gusts and say how far apart they are.
Is the free site going away?
No. Every track page, the map, the flags and the pit-box numbers for right now stay free. Pro is for racers and fans who want the whole week and their own tracks watched.
